About the Author (cont.)

Rowe said, "It seems that a movie with popcorn on the weekends, for the family in her chilling novel, was not eventful enough to create the levels of emotional charges, incite the levels of adrenaline, or meet the levels of hysteria, guilt, and fear to which some families can become accustomed." According to Rowe, whatever the reasons are for the shocking events depicted in A Tale About Lilly (in fiction form), she is certain that real life situations similar to those that affected the novel's family socially, psychologically, and emotionally, affect others ever
yday.

"The bottom line is, though, that, somehow, people live through it all, and I am one who knows that there is some courageous and positive power stronger than me that wants me to show others how to keep keeping on and not to give up or give out," she said.

See the Upcoming Events page to meet the author of A Tale About Lilly, where she plans to discuss the rippling effects of how alcohol and emotional abuse led to devastating social and environmental patterns that helped to create distorted images of "normalcy" for the siblings in her novel.

An autographed copy of Rowe's novel and her photo-verse publication, Abstemious Doves, can be purchased at the Online Shopping Mart page (see left panel), and non-autographed copies can be purchased at authorhouse.com, on almost every online book site, and by order in almost all walk-in bookstores.
